For my senior thesis work, I constructed nine life size figure sculptures as a monument to the homeless.
The work is constructed in concrete and steel and each sculpture holds an oil on board portrait.
The sculptures were presented in the Corcoran's Hemicycle Gallery and then placed in and around the metro DC area.
The sculptures in the world presented a play on appearences and reality and potentialy created an opportunity for the viewer to confront themselves and their impressions of what a homeless person is.
